February 2, 2011 - Press Conference820 views“Well my definition I guess of an elite quarterback is one that wins football games. Obviously you put up numbers and I’m not saying you have to put up, throw for 350 yards a game or whatever, but putting up numbers, being consistent however you do it. If you’re throwing the ball 15 times a game, what’s your completion percentage? Are you completing most of them? Are they just five-yard passes or 10 to 15-yard passes, but at the end of the day to me, to be an elite quarterback is winning and losing.†-- On what he considers "elite".

June, 2014 - Pastor Jeff Rice 826 viewsThis one is a bit late in coming to us, but with good reason!
Pastor Jeff Rice, a HUGE Steelers fan, received the winning shoe for his birthday, but was not aware of it because it was his congregation that sent in his name for the June birthdays. When he actually won, they asked if they could keep Ben's shoe until October so that they could present it to him during October's Pastor Appreciation Month!
"As a life-long Steelers fan I could not imagine a nicer SURPRISE than a signed game shoe from Big Ben! Turning 50 is not so bad afterall! Thank you!!" -- Pastor Rice, Light House Worship, Alexandria, VA
We thought that was a great idea!

March 2, 2014 - WPIAL Basketball Championship948 views"I don't remember a WPIAL title game that created such ticket demand as the New Castle-Hampton game. The contest was sold out. It even brought out Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (wonder if he had a ticket?). Pitt coach Jamie Dixon came straight from his team's game at Notre Dame. Dixon and Roethlisberger sat next to each other on the floor under one of the baskets." -- Mike White

2017 Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp744 views"We drove up from GA Sunday for the camp. I can't express how thankful I am for my son to have the experience. But I have to get something off my chest . When Ben was leaving I tried to get a pic, he rushed out. At first I was mad, but I was wrong to have felt that way, I even talked to my son about this. Ben was there taking time away from HIS kids during Father's Day. I remember seeing him running back and forth from camp to his family. He went out of his way to make the experience for kids memorable, and I feel like he did. Sometimes as fans we can be as selfish as I was, I hope the rest of Ben's day was great! Thanks for all you do, on and off the field. My son already talking about coming back next year. I did talk with Pouncey during camp and got a pic, so big thanks to Pouncey for being there!" -- Tommy Hyde.

2008 Training Camp - July 29, 2008853 viewsThe Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that OC Bruce Arians is blown away by Ben Roethlisberger's play. "It almost scares me how good he is, how into it he is and how good he's going to be," Arians was saying between camp practices yesterday. "It's a night-and-day difference now from where he was two years ago. Then, he was like, 'I've got to take care of myself. This stuff is hard.' Now, he's like, 'I've got most of it down. I can help the other guys.' "
