February 2, 2011 - Press Conference795 views“I think for me, I mean obviously we have to try to score more points than they do. But for me it’s going to be about identifying their defense, trying to pick up their blitzes, and when you identify you have a better chance of doing that. You still have to execute you know and do your job and do your role, but if we can find a way to identify their defense and their blitzes and where they’re coming from I think that gives us a better opportunity, a better chance.†-- On what it will take to win Super Bowl XLV.

December 2, 2012 - Steelers vs Ravens925 viewsBen hugs an emotional Charlie Batch after the Steelers victory over the Ravens. Charlie directed a 61-yard drive in the closing minutes and Shaun Suisham kicked a 42-yard field goal as time expired to give the Steelers a 23-20 win.
From Alan Robinson, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:
Ben Roethlisberger was the first to greet Charlie Batch, grabbing him tightly for a 30-second bear hug that summed up everything about this emotional day, this resilient team, this improbable win.
The quarterback who was too hurt to play knew exactly what was going through the mind of the quarterback who was being called too old to play.
The Steelers had just beaten the Ravens team they supposedly couldn’t beat — not in this stadium, not under these circumstances, not with this man at the controls, and it meant everything to both of them.
“You go out there and that was a big win,†Batch said. “It was one of those moments, and he and I shared it. I’ll keep it between us what was said, but it was something that was special.â€

May 19, 2019 - Main Line Autograph Show863 views“I just wanted to say thank you so much to Ben for this moment. I have been a HUGE fan since his rookie year. My dream has always been to meet him and the Main Line Autograph event helped that finally come true. I was so nervous to actually meet him all I could say is, “heyâ€, Lol. But I will have the pictures and autograph to last a lifetime. My fiance, Jordan and I are so thankful. These will be going in our Steelers room! Once again, thank you Ben for making a dream come true.†— Heather Hickman.

Gift for Mom!509 viewsDear Erin,
I just thought I'd share the wonderful surprise my kids gave me today!
My 5 year old daughter Guinevere knows how much I love the Steelers, especially Ben, and she knows how heartbroken I was that they missed the playoffs. So while I was at work she drew this picture for me, based on a plush doll that we have. My 8 year old son James helped her with the writing. I'm sure you'll agree that the resemblance is uncanny!!
Thanks for all you do,
Heather Dadey
