February 3, 2011 - Press Conference1262 views"It was superstition and tradition. Tuesday night I take my linemen out to dinner and we went to a great barbeque spot. We went there and wanted to listen to some live music, so we went to a piano bar. We just had an enjoyable night. We go to dinner a lot during the regular season. The tradition for the Super Bowl is that I take the guys out one night and they get to pick. Usually it’s a steakhouse or something. They wanted to go to a barbeque place this time, so it was really good." -- On taking his O-Line out on Tuesday night.

July 30 2011653 views"The biggest cheer from the crowd came when Ben Roethlisberger and James Harrison walked down the steps HOLDING HANDS!"
This is so deserving of a caption!
Update:
Best caption 1: "Ben and me was like peas and carrots again!" (gotta love quotes from "Forrest Gump")!
Best caption 2: "We're the two best friends that anyone could have, we're the two best friends that anyone could have..." (lyrics taken and 're-numbered' from the song by Zack Galifianakis in the movie "Hangover").

December 8-10, 2009 - Caption Contest1493 viewsNow, it's not often you get a contest winner who sends two winning entries. Fred's first one, using the initial contest photo (top) worked great and was the unanimous winner:
"This is where I crossed off the Zhu Zhu Pets I really wanted, thinking Santa might then get Troy back in the Line-Up."
....but then he got a little more creative and sent a second caption with a reverse photo of his own (bottom), which we liked even better:
"Charlie Batch and Big Ben make some last minute changes to his wish list to Santa."
We decided to add them both!
So actually, Fred Carrow won twice! Congratulations Fred!

Big Ben Tough910 views...that's what Maverick Mitchell is! Especially when wearing his favorite jersey.
Mom Keri Mitchell says, "Georgia's biggest little Steelers fan! Saying his prayers the other night:
'God bless Big Ben, Troy, Hines, Heath, Jack Lambert, and Mean Joe!'. My little man loves all Steelers past and present but absolutely idolizes Big Ben!"

May 13, 2019 - Growing Pains527 viewsBodie is just two weeks shy of his 3rd birthday, but he’s already finding out that sometimes growing up is hard to do!
"Even though he’s been in his 'big boy' bed for months now, Bodie was having a seriously hard time with Dad 'breaking' his crib yesterday! I think Mom was crying just as hard taking the picture! — Ben.
Hey Bodie, it’s okay buddy! Big boy beds are way better, you’ll see! And we sure do love the cool tributes to both of your grandpas college baseball careers on your wall (Pops’ at Georgia Tech and Pappy’s at Nyack)!!
