#7 is a Work of Art655 viewsKevin J Cousino, of KJC Custom Sports Figures made this awesome 3-figure “Big Ben – Threw the Years†display for the man himself.
“I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio born and have been following Ben since his senior year in high school. I was approached about creating something special for him and this is how it started!
Findlay High School provided some awesome reference pictures for the one figure, and I researched his Miami uniform online…and well, the Steelers uniform I could do in my sleep, lol. As a fan of the team since I was five years old (1975) it was an honor to create something specially for him. I hope he likes it!†— Kevin.

February 9, 2013 - Miami University Hall of Fame Induction Weekend2833 viewsRoethlisberger was Saturday’s headliner and spoke about his affection for Miami and the degree that he finalized in 2012. His last football season in Oxford was 2003, when the RedHawks went 13-1 and earned a No. 10 ranking by the Associated Press.
“I’m honored to be a graduate, to have my number retired, to be in the Hall of Fame now and to say that I went to Miami,†Roethlisberger said. “People all the time ask, why Miami? And I say obviously the academics and a chance to play early and Coach Hoeppner.â€
Of the bachelor’s degree in education that he picked up last May, the 30-year-old Findlay High School graduate said it was something he always hoped to obtain.
“It was a bigger goal early on, and then as you start getting sidetracked, offseasons get shorter and things are going on,†Roethlisberger said. “Having a son on the way — and now he’s here — it just kind of motivated me further to get it done and just to tell my son and hopefully more kids that I got my degree and how important education is.â€

Game ball for Lil' Fan Richard Culliver880 views“That was the first time we’ve done the victory formation, I believe this year, to take a knee to end it, and I wanted to keep that. There’s a little boy that's been very sick that has been on my website, and has been checking in…and I want to send that to him.†-- Ben, post-game when asked why he kept the game ball. October 21, 2012.
You can see how tightly Ben held on to that football after the game -
