August, 2012 - Bryce Bishop1148 views"Today is a day that we'll never forget! I open the door to get the mail and see a package at my feet. It was addressed to my son Bryce. He's 8 now, his birthday was August 10th. And knowing he had already received all his gifts already, I had no idea what it was. Then I saw the BigBen7 on the shipping label. I did seem to recall entering Bryce's name in a contest. Never thinking about winning. To our amazement, it was one of Ben's game worn cleats. The truly remarkable thing about this, the story gets better. The cleat matches the style Ben wore at home against the Ravens. As I'm comparing photos, I notice a stain on the back by the word 'Nike' that matches exactly a photo from the game. To own the game used cleat, of a childhood hero, from your very first game in Pittsburgh has to be a once in a lifetime. My eyes fill with tears just trying to take all this in. Ben and Erin, Bryce and I could never thank you enough. We are so hopeful to see Ben real soon, as to get a picture of Bryce, Ben and the newest edition to the family, Ben's shoe. Thank you both so very much!" -- Steve Bishop
