April 25, 2015 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Dauch Indoor Stadium & Ben Roethlisberger Field1405 viewsThis is my school, you know. It’s an honor to be a graduate, an alumnus. It’s something I’m hoping my kids can come back in 15-20 years and see their name on the field and it means something to them too. –- Ben

"From the people to the campus to the football program, everything at Miami is to love. Oxford was like a home away from home for me, and I loved having the opportunity to help carry on Miami's football tradition while working towards that priceless Miami degree."

February 9, 2013 - Miami University Hall of Fame Induction Weekend2540 viewsBen does an on-air interview during the MU vs Akron basketball game.
Some of the highlights:
On how he feels about being inducted into the MU Athletic Hall of Fame -
"It's an awesome honor to be able to come back. I've been blessed to have my number retired, I graduated this last summer, and now to go into the Hall of Fame, it's really a neat thing to do, and it's even better to go into with Coach Hep! I know he's not here physically, but he's here in spirit and it doesn't get any better than to go in with a guy who was a mentor to me and one of the main reasons I came to this school."
On whether he knows MU's current quarterback, Zac Dysert -
"I've actually been able to establish a good relationship with him, talking to him quite a bit, just encouraging him. I know what he's going through, I know how hectic it is. I'm just being supportive and telling him, 'it will get easier, I promise'. (smiles). "
On being a new dad -
"It's really a neat thing to be a father. It's awesome!!"
