February 26, 2014 - Honda Classic Gold Pro-Am 755 viewsStevie Seefried @sseefried3
just saw Ben Roethlisberger hit a 350 yard drive #BigBen
And what did Irish Pro Golfer Mark Murphy (@MarkMurphyGolf) have to say in a direct message on Twitter about Ben's golf swing?
"Looks really good!"
And then in a retweet:
"nice move BB!"
(A man of few words with a great golf swing himself!)
Pro Golfer and Pittsburgh native Brian Cooper approved as well:

November 11, 2022: #7 & #99 are both ‘Hunters Sharing the Harvest’130 viewsFrom the Hunters Sharing the Harvest organization’s Facebook page:
“Yesterday we kicked off what promises to be another outstanding season of venison donations across the Commonwealth.
We were joined at Collier Sportsmen’s Association by many of our volunteers, partners and supporters, including very special guests, two-time Super Bowl champs and retired Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger – BigBen7.com and Brett Keisel, who spoke about their own donations of deer to our program and what the HSH mission means to them.
HSH executive director Randy Ferguson, retired executive director John Plowman and HSH board members were joined by key agency partners Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Game Commission, as well as Hunger-Free Pennsylvania representing the Commonwealth’s food distribution network.
As the firearms deer season approaches, make sure you fill all those additional tags and please consider sharing your extra deer with Pennsylvania’s food-insecure this season!â€

September 18, 2015 - Brennan House543 views12-year old Brennen House is a life-long Steelers fan from Hagerstown, Indiana. His mom wanted to share this story with Ben and Steeler Nation:
“For three years, Brennen and his brother, Carter, have attended Ben’s ProCamps.
Their Grandparents, George and Terri Cecere of La Grange, Kentucky (also Steelers fans) have happily taken the boys on these trips to allow them these awesome experiences.
Brennen broke his arm in the beginning of May, but knew he would be getting out of his long-arm cast and into the short-arm right before it was time to head to camp. He chose a yellow cast and refused to let anyone sign it in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, Ben would.
While Brennen was sitting with his team on the first morning of camp, waiting to break off into their drills, Ben walked past Brennen and asked, ‘How are you going to catch a pass with your arm like that?’, to which Brennen responded, ‘I’ll find a way.’ While Carter’s team was playing football, Carter told Ben that the kid in the cast was his brother and he had a Sharpie in his sock, which made Ben laugh. After Brennen’s team played their football game, Ben approached Brennen and asked, ‘Do you still have that Sharpie in your sock?’.
Ben then proceeded to make Brennen’s year – he signed his cast!
Over the weekend the boys’ grandparents were at our home for a visit and they brought Brennen a shadow box containing the picture of Ben signing Brennen’s cast and the piece of cast – a unique and memorable treasure.
My son Carter, who is a Bears fan, was the kid at camp who impressed Ben by naming, in order, the ten players drafted before Ben in the 2004 draft that he won a signed hat.
Brennen not only caught all passes Ben threw to him, but ran one in for a touchdown. Such a wonderful memory for my boy!†– Joanna Dill

2012 Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp1381 views"The graciousness not only came from Ben, but his sister as well. Carlee was there to help out some of the kids with putting pinnies on, but she was more than accommodating taking a picture with me when I asked her. I hesitated on asking, but am glad I did. It just solidified what a great job Ben and Carlee's parents have done in raising them. From what little interaction I've had with them, its apparent they've raised not just great athletes, but even greater people. We had the time of our lives. I wish I was able to thank everyone who made it possible. I'm still in awe how great it was."
