February 6th, 2013 - The Silver Fox Steakhouse 564 viewsWhile visiting his friend and one of his self-described heroes, Jim Kelly in upstate New York during the month of February, Ben stopped and had dinner at the acclaimed "Silver Fox Steakhouse" in Ellicottville, NY. Before he left, he posed with Head Chef Jack Atkinson and some of his staff.
"I'm a huge Steelers fan, and of Ben as well. It was my pleasure to cook for him. He was extremely gracious to my staff and myself posing for pictures and signing autographs." -- Jack Atkinson

Training Camp, August 3, 20071827 viewsBrianna, who attended training camp from Youngstown, Ohio, took these photos: "I had the really high zoom on for some of the pix, but I just HAD to get close to him when he was signing during the storm. That was really nice of him and made me like him even more! I also was relieved that the weather broke and they practiced outside."

Fan Story - Emily and Big Ben, 2007.3445 viewsEmily had the opportunity to not only meet Ben but to dine with him as well:
"Hi, my name is Emily Kuhlman and I met Big Ben! When I met him, he was so tall (and I'm 5'8" and only in 6th grade). My uncle introduced me to Ben at his sister Carlee's basketball game, because he and my uncle are best friends and I'm a really big fan. After I met him, we all went to Tony's Restaurant (home of the Big Ben burger) because my uncle owns the restaurant. After we were done eating, he signed my jersey and my "Big Ben" pin. It was so cool! Then we sat and talked for a half hour. After we were ready to go we all said goodbye and went home. That was the best day ever!"
Big Ben's BIGGEST fan,
Emily Kuhlman

*Thank you so much to Emily for sharing her story and her photo!
