September, 2014 - Salute to Steeler Nation Mexico558 viewsSteelers Family TapatÃos
"Let me tell you a little about the picture and about the group we've been trying to bring together.
It was about a year ago, that Alberto Gutiérrez (@chefosomo67) and me brought the idea from Mexico City of having a Steelers fan group, so we looked for people wearing black and gold jerseys and having Steelers stickers on their cars. He opened a Facebook page under the name of "Steelers Family TapatÃos" to get as many people as possible to join together and enjoy the games as a family.
It hasn't been fast, but we've made lots of friends, we really get along with each other, and it has helped us to know people with interesting jobs and businesses to share. And in this slow but safe growing, we've get preference and discounts in bars and restaurants around the city. One time, we had preference over a Chivas (a local soccer team) game in the place, that's a great achievement considering the quantity of people who likes that team here." -- Diego Delgadillo

Leslie Slack's collection426 views"I took this photo of my 'Ben collection'. As you can see I collect anything 'Ben'. I live in New Castle PA. and hear he comes to town from time to time. I would love to run into him sometime just to chat a minute. I saw him at camp for a brief time while he signed my jersey and another time when he signed a football for me. I don't know why but both times I managed to say something really stupid. I love your site and visit it at least 3 or 4 times a day." -- Leslie Slack

January 3, 2016 - "Thank you Ben!"644 viewsWe received this email from a Browns fan, after he saw the photo of his son receiving the game ball from Ben on the website’s Facebook page -
Ben, first off I would just like to say that was a class act you giving the game ball to a fan.
I am a Cleveland fan and I took my kids to the game yesterday. They are both big Steelers fans!
You made my son, Caden, the happiest fan ever by giving him the game ball! That is something he will never forget.
After we left the game, he said, “Dad, I didn’t tell him ‘thank you’ for the ball!â€. I told him I would try to contact you to let you know he loves it and to say thanks.
Also if you could thank Antonio Brown – he signed a jersey for my other son, Chace, before the game yesterday. It was a great day for both of my boys and it was real class for both of them to do that.
I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to both of them, and to the Steelers organization — and that is coming from a life-long Browns fan.
Once again that was real class, and I appreciate it and I will have to cheer for you guys a little bit now. – Good luck in the playoffs, Jared Clonch.

September, 2010 - Working with Mr. Whitfield1798 views I've been looking forward to talking to the Steel City about their leader. In regard to Ben being ready... He's ready. He's been through a one-man training camp. It was meticulous, it was filmed, it was Western PA blue collar style. There were three workouts we did right out in the rain, just a downpour, and I was just waiting for him to say 'maybe we take this inside,' and at no time did he even flinch. And you know, he's throwing four or five pound footballs and things like that, and he went right after it. He's ready, he's sharp, the guy's in great shape and more than anything he's excited. So you blend all that together and I think when they uncage him in 13 days, he's gonna be ready to go. I think you guys will be excited." -- George Whitfield, from his interview on 93.7 - The Fan, October 5, 2010.

The bravery and toughness you show makes you true Super Heroes. Also, a big ‘Shout Out’ to my main man Luke (wearing #7). He’s one heck of a receiver. — Ben.

November 20, 2020 - Lil' Fan Friday163 views“My family was in Cleveland last weekend visiting grandparents. We of course watched the Steelers game amidst a bunch of Browns fans. My 10-year old son went for a halftime bike ride with his uncle and had a bad accident. He was riding on a small dirt trick course. He hit a small jump and instead of landing, hiss flew over the handle bars. His face took the impact. We went to the ER. He got 5 stitches in his chin but he also knocked his bottom front teeth loose and chipped 2 teeth. We watched the end of the Steelers game and saw Big Ben throw the winning TD. Then he was ready to get his stitches. We decided to bring him home to get his teeth taken care of. Monday was a long day of dental and orthodontic work. He got braces on his bottom teeth to stabilize and gently move the damaged teeth. He chose black and gold bands!
Luke was tough the whole time. He had recently watched Big Ben’s movies about his surgery and recovery. Luke said ‘Oh man…it’s going to hurt to get these stitches out! Big Ben was even in pain!!’ I told him these stitches were way different!
He has been watching the Steelers his whole life. Mommy and Daddy went to Miami with Big Ben. We are thankful Big Ben is a Christ following role model for our boys.†— Mom Allison.
