From Vogard.com1199 viewsThe American Football star Ben Roethlisberger and his family recently paid a visit to Switzerland to discover their ancestry through the Swiss Roots organisation. Many typically Swiss customs and traditions were introduced to Ben during his five-day trip, but the one he found most interesting was watchmaking. Ben is a great watch enthusiast and so, at a special ceremony in his ancestral town of Lauperswil, he was presented with a VOGARD Personal Edition watch by the brand's creator, Michael Vogt. Ben asked to have the names of Pittsburgh and Lauperswil incorporated into the bezel and for the watch case to be engraved with No. 07, his Pittsburgh Steelers playing number.
Ben’s comment on the patented timezoner movement was brief and concise: "That’s a touch down". Michael is delighted that, from now on, everywhere Ben goes he will be accompanied by a little piece of Switzerland.

January 3, 2016 - "Thank you Ben!"644 viewsWe received this email from a Browns fan, after he saw the photo of his son receiving the game ball from Ben on the website’s Facebook page -
Ben, first off I would just like to say that was a class act you giving the game ball to a fan.
I am a Cleveland fan and I took my kids to the game yesterday. They are both big Steelers fans!
You made my son, Caden, the happiest fan ever by giving him the game ball! That is something he will never forget.
After we left the game, he said, “Dad, I didn’t tell him ‘thank you’ for the ball!â€. I told him I would try to contact you to let you know he loves it and to say thanks.
Also if you could thank Antonio Brown – he signed a jersey for my other son, Chace, before the game yesterday. It was a great day for both of my boys and it was real class for both of them to do that.
I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to both of them, and to the Steelers organization — and that is coming from a life-long Browns fan.
Once again that was real class, and I appreciate it and I will have to cheer for you guys a little bit now. – Good luck in the playoffs, Jared Clonch.

Johnny's Jeep (and RJ's too!)2209 viewsFrom Johnny Dabovich:
I've been a Steelers fan since the age of 7, I'm now 44. Growing up in New Mexico and now living in Colorado, it's hard to collect anything with 'Steelers' on it. So when I had the chance to paint a vehicle black and gold I jumped on it.
My son RJ is a huge fan of Ben, His entire room is covered with Steelers memorabilia. We went to Pittsburgh to watch the AFC Championship game but RJ was bummed he didn't get to ever meet a player, hopefully will get out there again during training camp so he can meet Ben or other players.
RJ would be pumped if he knew Ben saw "his" jeep.
I restored the jeep to have fun in the mountains and go off road, when it was complete I asked Kenny Banks to put a mural on the hood and some kind of a pattern down the side. He said he always wanted to do something big but he always had to paint what the customer wanted and nobody would have the patience to complete a big project. I told him that as long as it had something to do with the Steelers he could run with his idea.
So 18-months later, this is what the final project looks like. I always joke with Kenny that he ruined my jeep, cause now it just sits in the garage.
The pictures really don't do it justice. It won a car show here in Pueblo for best of show first time out. Most people see it for what it is and complement it, but there are those dumb Bronco fans that mock it.
*Johnny, thank you so much for sharing your photos!
