Golf Channel's Brian Cooper422 views"If you had the chance to watch Golf Channel's series 'Big Break Greenbrier', you would see that I'm very loyal to my roots of being raised in western Pennsylvania. Aside from carrying the Terrible Towel on my bag while filming the show, I also wore a Steelers belt buckle. And it so happens that #7 is my favorite number, making Ben my favorite player. The Steelers are an integral part of that town and I love being part of Steeler Nation." -- Brian Cooper, Coopsgolf.com

From Monterrey, Mexico to the Steel City to catch a game!422 viewsThe Regios De Acero Steelers Fan Club traveled by bus from Mexico to Pittsburgh to see their beloved Steelers LIVE!
Regular readers are familiar with this hardy crew of Steelers fans who wear their love for their favorite team (and their favorite player) on their backs as part of their everyday attire!
Sure, they watch their Steelers at home in Mexico, and they’ve traveled to Kansas, Arizona, and to Dallas for Super Bowl XLV to see them play (they didn’t have tickets, but they did tailgate and watch the game on TV), but their dream was to see a Steelers game in THEIR home!
They finally made their own dream come true on December 15th!
From Roger Saucedo on their unforgettable trip:
The trip to Pittsburgh started on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 am. A group of around 25 Steelers fans leave Monterrey to Pittsburgh. We pass the border by McAllen,Texas. The plan was go non-stop to Pittsburgh, just stop to buy food and gas for the bus.
We finally arrived in Pittsburgh on Friday, December 13th by 11:00pm which means we completed the trip from Monterrey to the Steel City in around 40 hours. Obviously all were tired but happy because we will be at the game at Heinz Field…and we arrived while it was snowing....

Steeler Nation Down Under421 views"Let the boys know that Yinzers around the world are wearing the Black and Gold, twirling our terrible towels and spreading the Good Word of The Son (Coach Mike Tomlin,) The Spirit (Sir Dick LeBeau) and The Wholy Ghost (Art Rooney.) Australians wonder why football players wear pads and I say two words, "Troy Polamalu." Needless to say, Steeler Nation is in every corner of this blue marble.
"Great Win! Keep it going. More importantly, congratulations on the birth of your new joy, Benny Jr. If you come to Darwin I will show you crocodiles. Not many Pittsburgh born and bred Yinzers have seen them and I know you are from Ohio. Enjoy, the picture. Its my wife and me at Uluruu in the Red Centre. And yes, that is a Barry Foster jersey. I try to rock it on the fan website but its never there...but it is always on me half way around the world when the Black and Gold take the field. Tell Shaun "South Side" Suisham hell of a win.
"Here we go Steelers, here we go!"
-- David Witzke, sent after the Steelers vs Ravens win on December 2, 2012.
