Training Camp, August 3, 20072914 viewsBrianna, who attended training camp from Youngstown, Ohio, took these photos:
"He signed a ton of autographs the whole time during the storm and after it broke. He was so sweet and he was trying to sign for everyone he could. He came to my side but started moving the other way when he was signing, so I followed him, making my way thru a sea of people. I finally got close to him and where he was signing. What I really wanted was a picture with him, but there was still a row of people in front of me, so I just held out my picture for him to sign. He got to mine (people were SCREAMING his name the whole time) and as he was signing it I said in a normal voice, "Ben," and he looked right at me (probably a lot because I said his name normally and wasnt screaming it). After he looked at me I then said, "I'm wearing my Miami shirt for you," as I tried to pull it up a little so he could see it. He looked at it and gave me one of those cute little smile/laughs that he always does (you guys all know what I'm talking about). Then he handed the picture back to me and I stood there for a few more minutes. The team was coming back out and Ben was putting his pads back on. He started running down with the team and I immediately started running down after him. There were so many slow people walking that I had a hard time getting thru. I then ran down the big hill and slipped and almost ran into this guy and the fence, but I didnt fall down. I got to the point where he was at and there werent a lot of people and kept saying, "Ben.....Ben.....Ben," but I didnt keep it up. I didnt want to be annoying because he was talking to some guy, and from what I could make out of their conversation he was a coach from a high school or college (prolly one of Ben's old ones) and Ben let him over the fence. I was SOOOOOOOO close to gettind a pic with him! That was my only real opportunity tho. After training camp, a golf cart took him and a few other players off the field after he was done doing interviews. So at least I got his autograph, sum good pix of him, and I got to talk to him a little bit. He was very sweet and very nice tho. I like him even more now! "
