DONNELL MIDDLE SCHOOL football players Ben Kupferberg (left) and Sid Hoover present to Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a framed jersey with his number from his playing days at Donnell. Roethlisberger went on to have record-setting careers for Findlay High School and Miami (Ohio) University and was a first-round draft pick by the Steelers in 2004. He won his first 13 NFL starts and led the Steelers to a Super Bowl championship in 2006. Big Ben is back in his home town this week and will headline the second annual Ben Roethlisberger Challenge today at 7 p.m. at Findlay High School. Proceeds from the basketball game benefit student-athletes at FHS and the Ben Roethlisberger Scholarship Fund.
