November 8, 2018: Panthers vs Steelers428 views“Ben is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week!â€
From Bob Labriola, Steelers.com:
Winning in the NFL doesn’t require perfect play from the quarterback, but if a team gets perfect play from its quarterback, things certainly are a whole lot easier. Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field, the Steelers got perfect play from their quarterback, and that got them off on the right foot for what turned into a 52-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Ben Roethlisberger completed 22-of-25 (88 percent) for 328 yards, with five touchdowns, no interceptions, and a perfect 158.3 rating. Roethlisberger also ran three times for 27 yards, and for all of that he is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.
Final Score: Steelers 52, Panthers 21

September 24, 2018: Steelers vs Bucs402 views“It may not be the, you know, the flashiest of ways, but he does the dirty work. He catches the underneath stuff, gets tackled, gets hit. He’s sure handed. He uses his body. He’s got real strong hands at the catch point. But he will take it down the field…He is reaping the rewards and benefits of teams doubling AB, and so that’s the best thing going right now for Juju is they’re doubling AB. If Juju keeps this up, they’re not going to be able to keep doubling AB.†-- Ben, during his radio show on 9/25/18.
Final Score: Steeler 30, Bucs 27.

September 29, 2018: Ravens vs Steelers405 views“It doesn’t help when you’re down 14 nothing in the blink of an eye. I think the fans were like, ‘Whoa, what just happened?’ You take the wind out of the place. That’s on us; we need to help give the crowd some energy. We feed off them so it’s nice when they get going and they get fired and we can feed off them but it’s kind of a give and take. We have to give them reasons to get excited.† -- Ben.
Final score: Ravens 26, Steelers 14
