April 3, 2012, New York City1121 viewsBen and other NFL players from every team model the new Nike NFL uniforms at an unveiling in New York.
While the Steelers uni didn’t change much, Ben said that he liked the fact it’s a little lighter than that of the old Reebok unis, “It’s a lot lighter and more comfortable in games, so late in games your going to feel like your not wearing anything."

January, 2012 - The Pink Bow Shoot Off3153 viewsBen stopped by the Archery Trade Association Show (ATA) in Columbus, Ohio in January, 2012 to check out all the new archery products. While he was there, he challenged friends Nick Sampson and Lonnie Price to a "shoot off". Who could shoot the most flying targets with a hot pink bow from Bowtech that was on display in their booth!
Who won?
"As much as it hurts to say it, Ben beat us both," says Nick. "He only missed one target in the whole round!"

January 12, 2012 - Archery Trade Association Expo 1001 viewsThe ATA (Archery Trade Association) held their show in Columbus, Ohio the second week of January and on the Thursday the 12th, #7 stopped by.
He paused often to pose for photos with Show attendees and signed autographs.
Ben, an avid bowhunter, said he’s able to make some rounds on the Show floor in-between photos and autograph signings. “There’s way too much to miss so, yeah, I do get around a little so I can see what’s new at this Show.â€
There’s also the conundrum that is two conflicting seasons: the heart of bow season overlaps the heart of football season.
“Hunting is relaxing so it works that it’s during the football season,â€said Ben. “I use bowhunting to unwind on my days off. With bowhunting, I can clear my head.â€Jan 21, 2012

Primal Instinct TV on Versus1388 viewsSpring, 2011 in Salisbury, Maryland. The show aired on September 15th, 2011.
Ben hunted with host Wilson Reynolds:
"I met Ben back at the ATA show this January thru Kevin Duffy of BowTech. I had the chance to waterfowl hunt with him late in the season and we decided to give spring turkeys a try. Ben is as competitive a hunter as he is on the football field and of all the celebrities I've hunted with or guided over the past forty years (and there have been a lot) he is the more intense about the sport of hunting than anyone I ever met. Ben is like a sponge absorbing every bit of knowledge and skill necessary to become one of the best sportsmen in the world. I wouldn't be surprised if you see him hosting his own Outdoor show when he leaves the gridiron!" -- Mr. ReynoldsNov 29, 2011
