We were standing in the parking lot talking and a gentleman approached us and stated that Ben was here, working out in the upstairs gym. We went inside and checked it out. Jim and I were both lucky to have something on us at the time for Ben to sign if we found him.
Ben walked out towards the exit and he was on the phone, I approached him and asked if he would mind signing my jersey and my friends photo. He signed both items for us! He could have kept on walking but he was nice enough to stop. We were both in complete disbelief that we actually got the chance to see Ben, let alone have him sign an autograph!!

May 22, 2018 - OTA's774 viewsBen clarified that there is no rift between him and Mason Rudolph, his comments were taken out of context and meant in jest and that he plans on helping him any way he can.

â€œIâ€™ve always done that. I think people took some things into a context that I was going to be mean or rude. That was not it at all. If you listen to the whole conversation I said in jest, laughing and having fun. I have never been the type to be rude or mean to other quarterbacks. Iâ€™ve had a lot of quarterbacks through here that have been younger than me that Iâ€™ve tried to help any way that I can. Iâ€™ll continue to do that.â€

He didnâ€™t waste any time helping. Ben talked with Rudolph a few times, giving him some tips.

â€œI tried to help him out with a couple of things I saw out there. He hasnâ€™t asked me anything yet, but I inputted my two cents. There was a particular play he ran a little naked on and he was six or seven yards from Rosie (Roosevelt Nix). He threw it pretty hard at Rosie and threw it high, and Rosie didnâ€™t catch it. I pulled him aside and said youâ€™ll learn quickly every throw doesnâ€™t have to be the hardest throw you can make. You donâ€™t have to put every throw on guyâ€™s chests as hard as you can. Thatâ€™s a great opportunity for a nice easy touch pass. Just trying to instill things like that.â€
