The Kenney Family Christmas card789 viewsRochelle, daughter Arielle, and John Kenney.
John was born and raised in Mt. Oliver on the South Side.
"I married into the dynasty 15 years ago and root for the team 365 days of the year whether we are having a good season or not. We live in VA beach ( was really sad I didn't get to see Big Ben when he was here, lol). My husband was in the Navy for twenty years, and is now retired, and a civilian with the government. My daughter was born into it also. She wears her Steelers/Penguins gear at least once a week! I am an admin for the 'Steel Blood of Hampton Roads' page on Facebook and we just went over 1,000 members just by word of mouth. We love the Steelers here in the 757, the fan base is Steelers, not the dead skins! We have rally's and get together and watch games whether it be Steelers, Penguins or Pirates!! I love my Steelers and I love Big Ben!! Woohoo! Take care & Merry Christmas!" -- Rochelle Kenney

Halloween, 2015788 viewsBen has been my lifelong favorite player, so I've always dressed as him for Halloween, and other costume events. He's an amazing person, and in my opinion, the best QB in the NFL. -- Elijah Bowling

Julia Pollock - July, 2012784 viewsJulia sent this photo and an update to both Ben and HER many fans since her story was posted on July 11th:
Hello Erin. Just wanted to send a message and a current picture of how I'm doing. I feel great. I'm just chilling here in Colorado sporting my Steelers colors. Can't wait to get bragging rights back at the Broncos/Steelers game. Whoo hoo! All of the extra attention has really been a wonderful distraction. I'm starting to walk again, went to the movies and have been out to a restaurant. My family and I are so very excited on my progress.
I really want to thank Ben for all his faith and prayers and of course his act of kindness contacting me. Words can never express how it made me feel. I wish you health and a successful season. Also, I want to thank the Steelers organization for their role in this wonderful experience, and of course Steeler Nation and newly gained Ben fans out there for their support and prayers. Trust me prayer does work, just look at me.

December 30, 2012 - Bella meets Ben!784 viewsOur first story comes from Bella Tomko. She met Ben last night while he and his lovely wife, Ashley were dining at Ichiban Hibachi Steakhouse. Bella tweeted the photo that Ashley took of her posing with Ben along with a thank you to him for being “so niceâ€!
From Bella:
I went up to him and said, “Excuse me, are you Ben Roethlisberger?†(just to make sure it was really him! and he said yes. I felt so bad for interrupting him at dinner, but I congratulated him on the great game he had played earlier and asked him if I could take a picture with him. He said, “Yeah, of course!â€. His wife took the photo for me, she was very nice as well. I thanked him so much and he said, “No problem! I hope you have a great new year!â€.
Most athletes aren’t that nice to people who interrupt their night. Thank you Ben!
